Summary: "Find messages..." missing from "Local folders"
context menu
Product: kmail
Version: 1.13.5
Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: keys and menus
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
Version: 1.13.5 (using KDE 4.5.1)
OS: Linux
The context menu for every folder in the folder pane contains a "Find
messages..." entry which launches the Find Messages dialog and prepopulates the
"Search only in" field with the name of that folder. However, the root folder
"Local folders" is missing this entry in the context menu. Though there are
other ways of specifying a search of all local folders once in the Find
Messages dialog (e.g., by selecting the first radio button, or by selecting the
second radio button and choosing Local Folders from the "Select Folder"
dialog), it should be added to the context menu for the sake of consistency.
Having "Find messages..." in the context menu for some folders but not for
others is confusing and counterintuitive.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right-click on "Local folders" in the folder pane
Actual Results:
2. "Find messages..." is not in the context menu
Expected Results:
2. "Find messages..." should appear in the context menu
