Today I created a new password at the email provider. Then I tried to fetch my mails with Kmail(with the old and saved password). There was no error message. It just looked like there were no new mails!?? I guess I had the second problem, too: At the beginning as I configured Kmail it was really hard to set up the pop3-configurations. There were also no error messages which showed a failure.
