In one of my three tests, after waiting a certain time (3 minutes?) the count was corrected and also the color of the subject was changed to black (from red). In one of the three tests, it worked correctly. I suspect that a relation to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=249840 exists. Still, this would be definately too long for closing this issue.
