Summary: Add geocoding support
Product: kaddressbook
Version: unspecified
Platform: Debian testing
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.4.4)
OS: Linux
It would be nice if there was some geocoding support in KAddressbook.
If I entered an address for a contact, I'd like to click "geocode this
address", and it should fetch the coordinates from Google
Maps/Yahoo/Openstreetmap, store the coordinates with the contact (so it only
has to query a geocoding server once) and display the position on the map below
the address.
Reproducible: Always
