--- Comment #14 from Andrey Borzenkov <arvidjaar mail ru> 2009-12-23 20:55:22 --- First let's make sure we are not comparing apples and oranges. My screen size and resolution is: dimensions: 1280x800 pixels (290x181 millimeters) resolution: 112x112 dots per inch KDE is set to use system resolution and 9pt fonts. When I try to measure fonts on screen I get 1/8th of inch which to my best knowledge *is* 9pt. The screenshot I attached and dialogue size I gave above are all using these settings. I now tested under clean account. It gets by default 9pt fonts as well. But! it also gets resolution override set to 96DPI. Of course, it means, that every font became significantly smaller - measuring font size, I get less than 1/8th of inch for a default konsole 12pt font. Under these conditions default dialogue has 1004 pixel width which barely fits on 1024x768 screen. As soon as I disable resolution override, the same dialogue becomes 1126 pixel wide, which obviously does not fit anymore. So, just to make sure - do your font sizes reflect "real" size? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
