It is not possible to configure the shortcuts for the syncActions and newActions of KontactInterface::Plugin instances. They are added to the kontact mainwindow by putting them into the appropriate KActionMenus but they are not added to the KShortcutsEditor for kontact. Only the parts shortcuts are added. Not those of the plugin. 2. The default shortcuts clash. CTRL+Shift+<some key> is used for all those "new <whatever>" shortcuts so the rest of the application should use them sparingly. I have currently no idea to solve that problem. I would have to discuss with david to refresh my knowledge how to do it. It depends on when kontact loads its plugins.
