I can confirm that with the radicale caldav server I can only view events on
the server, but new events created in KOrganizer or Merkuro Calendar are not
synced to the server.
I also have set up the Radicale Caldav Calendar resource on Thunderbird and my
iPhone and iPad.
On all devices the events can be viewed and new events can be added.
Only the events from akonadi are not sent to the server.
