SUMMARY
I don't use all of the Akonadi plugins e.g. those for Kmail, Kjots, kalarm,
etc. But I do use some of the functionality, so would it be possible to
enable/disable individual Akonadi plugins via the akaonadictl CLI interface?
It would save RAM (ok, a little bit), but it would enable me to have a much
better granual control over what happens on my laptop.
