What else happens is, that, when restarting after segfault, older messages are shown as unread and astonishingly messages that had been erased much beforehand and eliminated off the paper basket, reappear in the list as new. This is problematic because may touch also messages that one would not like to reappear (containing e.g. content that is reserved or undesired).
