Summary: UI bug - Setup outgoing accounts
Product: kmail
Version: 1.9.52
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs kde org
ReportedBy: thomas belandi be
Version: 1.9.52 (using 4.00.82 (KDE 4.0.82 >= 20080610), compiled
sources)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-1-686
When I was trying to modify one of my outgoing accounts I had some weird
behaviour.
(Settings -> Confiugre Kmail... -> Accounts -> Sending)
I have two outgoing mail servers: "Primairy" and "Secondairy" where Secondairy
is default.
This is the order in which the items are listed:
- Secondairy (Default)
- Primairy
I noticed there's an down-arrow next to the "Name" title on top of the list,
but the items aren't sorted alphabetically.
When I try to click on Secondairy, Primairy moves up in the list, probably
because the list is alphabetically sorted at that point, en Primairy is
selected in stead of Secondairy.
So the items are listed as follows:
- Primairy [selected]
- Secondairy (Default)
Once one of the items has been selected (or clicked on) the dialog behaves as
expected until you close the settings dialog and try again.
The other way around gives a similar result:
Clicking on Primairy puts Secondary below Primairy and selects Secondary.
- Primairy
- Secondairy (Default) [selected]
