To coclude on this :
What I had to do :
(1) in kmailrc file :
folders[$ie]=${KMAIL_HOME}
to avoid replacement by absolute path of $KMAIL_HOME value
(2) in my .profile file this addition :
export KMAIL_HOME=my_directory_path_of_kmail_data
