Sam May <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #11 from Sam May <[email protected]> --- This is definitely something to do with Poudriere's specific builder jail setup in our configs. I have the same failure when building with the usual commands, however when I ask poudriere to keep the jail around ("-I") in order to collect the ktrace requested, the snapshot generator actually succeeds on the manual invocation. That makes reproduction rather difficult... Since my combination of hardware/ccache/etc. lets me get back to the failure in ~15m (~30m if I have it save the wrkdir) rather than Marek's several hours, I'm in a better spot to iterate on the problem. I can confirm that USE_TMPFS=no per the title and comment #4 doesn't resolve things, and will keep poking around to see what I can turn up -- next step is to try to hack into the Poudriere scripts themselves to cause a dirty shutdown on failure to have the /same/ jail environment to work from rather than the doctored form -I and -i provide. Side note: Bug #256411 seems to be a previous iteration of this bug, and further evidence that it's somehow transient even for the same person. Hopefully I get some concrete progress before it mysteriously clears up for me as well. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
