If you try to change the time zone via systemsettings in the "Date and Time" tab, the operation is successful. But the system time zone in KDE does not change. At the same time, in SDDM, the time starts to be displayed in accordance with the selected time zone. If you set the time zone via tzsetup, then everything is fine in both SDDM and KDE. I noticed the following. Only /etc/localtime changes via systemsettings, but /var/db/zoneinfo does not. Both files change with tzsetup.
