The embedded Beast is a rather old version, so just removing it shows up compatibility problems between the ceph code and Boost::asio. I don't feel like taking shots in the dark at fixing this, since I'm not familiar enough with Boost changes. So status right now is: ceph needs to fix their C++ code.
