Hi Rakshit,
That's great! If there is a KDE product that you personally use a lot,
that would be a good place to start, fixing small bugs and eventually
moving up to writing new features. If you're short on ideas, the Dolphin
file manager is a great place to start, since it's so commonly used.
Here are some bugs and small feature requests to give you ideas:
Copying files to a Samba share resets their timestamp

Dolphin can't open videos on Samba shares
- https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355328
Drag-and-drop doesn't work with Samba shares accessed through Dolphin
- https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373589
Dolphin's inline terminal blocks unmounting volumes
- https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158264
Dolphin should be able to show file creation date, when available
- https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=286689
- https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381367
Dolphin should be able to show the on-disk size of the folder in the
"size" column
- https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158090
Dolphin could use a built-in "Recently used files / folders" feature by
default

Well, we have more than 100 projects going on, most of them with C++ and
Qt, you can check the projects that we have, and see which one interest
you. -> https://www.kde.org/products | https://www.kde.org/develop
To start, I recommend to you to read this material:
