Well, no one cares if thumbnails are not 100% accurate if they are 90% accurate. =) If they show (as in my case) a page which is two times large than it should be, I find it not good.
I think that the suggested change to the gs command line (bug 336658) is meaningful, it just renders the things better. I am not at ease with the KDE development workflow, otherwise I would have already commited a change to the code with that "-dUseTrimBox". If some is available to help me step by step to make the change and submit it, I would gladly learn. =) A completely different story is the introduction of poppler instead of Ghostscript. This is a complex task, so I may understand if no one touches it.
