In the future, post the actual error message, but I assume you mean the acl package itself. You need to install the dev libs, e.g. libacl1-dev With kubuntu/apt you can usually get mos of the build dependencies installed automatically, e.g: sudo apt-get build-dep kdelibs5-dev -- Lindsay
