Hello gearheads, for the past week or so I have been emailing those among you who have been marked as mentors by Season of KDE applicants.
I am pleased to say that out of 73 *valid* entries we have managed to either assign a mentor or confirm impossibility to assign a mentor for all but 8 of them. These 8 leftover students are mostly students who applied for many tasks in the same submission or haven't specified a task they would like to do. None of them have a mentor, and I expect that most of them would be willing to do pretty much any task that is assigned to them by a mentor. If you would like to mentor a student on some task, and if I haven't contacted you by now, this is your chance to get a student. This is also the students' last chance to get a mentor. If you're interested, email me or kde-soc-mentor-ow...@kde.org or both and I'll send you the students' entries so you can pick one or more and make contact. Cheers, -- Teo on behalf of the KDE student programs administrators team >> Visit http://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-devel#unsub to unsubscribe <<
