I've been using the KGet and I compared the download speed of KGet & the proptotype (The download manager) that I've developed.Their was manyfold difference in the download speed ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VAe6ORt3Ec ). If KGet would have been using partitioning of remote file it'ld have been faster. Yes , their is tabs available with KIO+Dolphin & Konqueror but the kind of interface I'm talking about is like this :- *http://www.flickr.com/photos/61065567@N05/5563165683/ *with all the facility. This type of interface will be very easy to use & transfer file between. Thanking you -Anand Kumar Developer at IIITA -: linkinAnand.blogspot.com :-
