Summary: Power profile randomly resets to "Power save"
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: Powerdevil
           Version: 6.2.4
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: redf...@dragonsector.pl
                CC: natalie_clar...@yahoo.de
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

Since one of the recent updates (around last month or two I think?) my power
profile randomly resets to "Power save" while I'm using the laptop. It's
incredibly annoying, as it makes the computer visibly lagging. I failed to find
if there's anything in particular which triggers this, it seems to happen
randomly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set power profile to "Performance"
2. Wait (between seconds and 30 mins)

OBSERVED RESULT

Power profile changes to "Power save" without the user requesting it.

EXPECTED RESULT

Power profile stays at "Performance" until manually changed.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.8.0
Qt Version: 6.8.0
Kernel: 6.12.1-arch1-1 (64-bit)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

It started to happen about a month ago. Also, I noticed that at some point my
charging setting got reset, I had "stop charging at" set to 95%, but now I saw
it got back to 100% despite me never changing it back to 100%.
