This is unfortunately an issue of the station list that the Deustche
Wetterdienst (DWD) provides, which uses just ascii. This means the diphthongs
use their expanded version and ß is expressed as "ss".
We make sure to still find those locations when using diacritics on the search
text, but cannot convert the other way around because it is not always a valid
conversion (specially for places in other languages than German)
