I can Confirm the addition of keyframes for the 5.2.6 appimage but I don't have
any crashing.
It was introduced in version 5.2.3.
Version 5.2.2 and some tested previous versions do not have this happening.
It happens if you do even a minimal Scale, Resize Canvas or a Crop action.
If you Undo the Scale then the animation curves go back to how they were.
If you Undo a Resize Canvas or a Crop then they do not go back and an
alternating offset in values happens with Undo then Redo.
