Confirmed with Krita 5.2.3 on Windows 11.
Additional Information:
If
Settings -> Configure Krite -> Color Management -> Display
has an ICC profile assigned that is different from the document ICC profile,
then the dropped color changes with each drop.
If the display and the document profile are the same, then the dropped color
does not change.
In my test the display icc profile assigned in the Windows OS color management
does not have an influence.
