Bug ID: 496546 Summary: "/sys/power/disk" is not set at the time of hibernation Classification: Plasma Product: Powerdevil Version: git-stable-Plasma/5.27 Platform: Debian stable OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: fabstz...@yahoo.fr CC: natalie_clar...@yahoo.de Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY My system requires to enter hibernation with "/sys/power/disk" set to shutdown, otherwise resume of hibernation fails. I configured systemd to have "HibernateMode=shutdown" (in /etc/systemd/sleep.conf.d/sleep.conf) STEPS TO REPRODUCE / OBSERVED RESULT If I run systemctl hibernate, value in "/sys/power/disk" is set to shutdown automatically If I click on "hibernate" in the KDE/Plasma menu, the value in "/sys/power/disk" is never updated. EXPECTED RESULT Given that on a clear boot the value defaults to "platform" for the kernel (instead of shutdown, which I required) and that the value is not set correctly by powerdevil, I think there is either a bug, or there is no way to configure powerdevil a way to set the desired value for "/sys/power/disk" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 12 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 Kernel Version: 6.1.0-27-amd64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: offscreen Processors: 2 × Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E8135 @ 2.66GHz Memory: 7.5 Gio of RAM Graphics Processor: NVAC ADDITIONAL INFORMATION If this is already fixed in a specific commit, can y -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
