So far the data points at the shortcut handling context not correctly
re-establishing connection to the pulseaudio daemon. For the applet we've
solved this by giving it a UI when that happens. It is a bit concerning that
this happens with some regularity to the shortcut system too though. That said,
some friction is to be expected if the daemon just disappears out of the blue.
