Thanks for the additional information. I'm glad to hear you have things working
now.
Previously I had installed the snap version of Dolphin
I re-tested with the deb version (24.08.1) using Dark Mode and *was* able to
reproduce the issue.
Note: I had to use Wayland, because the X11 session wouldn't load, for whatever
reason. It kept reverting to the login screen. The compositor shouldn't matter
This looks like an issue with how Ubuntu handles QT apps in the distro. If you
would like them to fix it, I recommend reporting the issue to Ubuntu.
