I have a new microphone. It is a JLab Talk USB microphone. I have activated it
as audio input in Kdenlive (display settings: JLAB TALK Microphone Digital

Under Ubuntu I use Kdenlive as appimage version 24.08.1

Unfortunately there is a problem with the microphone when I want to record
something. I select a track for recording in my project under Kdenlive and
after selecting the microphone as the source I can also see the level when I
speak into the microphone. As soon as I start the recording, nothing is
recorded and shortly after I stop the recording (reverse contdown), Kdenlive
crashes and I have to restart the program.
With a completely new project, an error message window appears in Kdenlive when
I stop recording: “The file /.../capture0008.wav cannot be opened”
