            Bug ID: 494649
Summary: Ways to prevent accidental clicks on the "Add New
                    Page..." on the left panel
    Classification: Applications
           Product: plasma-systemmonitor
           Version: git-stable-Plasma/6.2
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: ksysguard-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: typing...@gmail.com
                CC: ahiems...@heimr.nl, plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

There is "Add New Page..." at the bottom of the list on the left panel, and
it's very annoying for me that I often misclick it. Does this button even need
to be there? I mean, who that often adds new pages in the system monitor in the
first place? If I click it by a mistake, it opens a pop-up, so I have to move
the mouse to close it and then return to the list.

I have thought of a few ways to prevent this.

1. Move into the "Add New Page..." into the hamburger menu above.

2. Dock "Add New Page..." at the bottom of the panel, sort of like the settings
button of Visual Studio Code's left panel.

3. Option to make the list big icons, like Visual Studio Code. The current list
items are too narrow vertically, so it's easy to misclick them. It only has 5
items by default, so there is a lot of wasted vertical space.
