            Bug ID: 494526
           Summary: Tray icons combining
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: git-stable-Plasma/6.2
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: System Tray
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: lune.twiddle...@passinbox.com
                CC: mate...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
Sometimes, applications in the tray and widgets may interact with each other.
Two examples:

1. Discord and Mullvad VPN are installed. Both have their entries always hidden
in the tray. When attempting to always show Mullvad's entry, it brings along
with it Discord's tray entry for some reason.
2. Telling Apdatifier (an Arch update helper) to start upgrading my system pops
out Konsole with the aforementioned update, but also brings out Icedrive which
is also present in the tray. This should not be happening.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have some applications in the tray. Let's use Discord and Mullvad as an
example.
2. Attempt to always show Mullvad's entry.

OBSERVED RESULT
It brings along Discord's entry as well.

EXPECTED RESULT
Only Mullvad's entry should be visible in the panel.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: EndeavourOS 6.10.12-hardened-1 / Plasma 6.2
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.6.0
Qt Version: 6.7.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a bizzare bug and I hope I am reporting it correctly, but it should be
easy to reproduce. If the Discord and Mullvad examples don't work, try using
Apdatifier to update the system and have the Icedrive .appimage running as well
in the tray. I am not insinuating that it only happens with these apps - this
seems to affect random apps in the tray. Experiment.
