FWIW, the "dirty" KF6 port @ https://github.com/zvova7890/ksysguard6/tree/kf6
works perfectly here (Gentoo, plasma 6.1.5/KF 6.6.0), and exhibits none on the
numerous problems introduced with plasma-systemmonitor.
It's not btop levels of efficiency, and it never was... But it's a hell of a
lot better than the current offering.
At this point (*4 years* in and still unusably slow) I'm just going to purge
and mask this plasma-systemmonitor trainwreck on all my systems. All future
effort and interest on my part will go to hacking on ksysguard to keep it
viable.
