Example of the glitch

SUMMARY
When moving a reference image, the image leaves a weird path of visual
glitching (similar to that old windows glitch when moving windows). It happens
in a non consistent way, about 30% of the times a reference image is moved. It
happens more if the image is moved slowly. The glitch clears itself if the
canvas is zoomed in/out, or moved.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Paste a reference image
2. Move it
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
Path of lines or pre rendered reference image along the movement path.

EXPECTED RESULT
No lines or visual glitches.
