I had the same issue with 24.08.1. In my case it worked to turn off "Force
RemoteFX". I had activated this due to a previous bug where "Force RemoteFX"
was the only way to make KRDC work on Wayland at all - this no longer seems to
be the case.
Currently using "Disable All Acceleration" and keyboard now works again!
Just adding in case this helps anyone else, and it might be relevant to finding
the issue.
