Gave up and then tried to go back to last working by sudo apt-get remove indi-full kstars-bleeding gsc followed by sudo apt-get install indi-full kstars-bleeding gsc But the drivers still crashed. I could not figure out how to revert from the git installation. Then I reinstalled a fresh install of Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
