It seemed that kmail/akonadi were mistakenly paused due to lack of Internet connection despite an Internet connection was available and working. I tried to clear caches, recreate the akonadi database and e-mail accounts multiple times to no avail. Later (while debugging an unrelated plasma issue) I discovered that the following command makes the e-mail synchronization work again when this happens: > killall --wait plasmashell && plasmashell -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
