That needs its > own bug report. Right, this bug is specifically for Windowheap effects (Overview, Grid, Present Windows, etc). There may be need of a separate bug for the CPU spike behavior i'm newly experiencing in 6.1, because it seems distinct from whatever issue causes the 60fps "lock". Do we have examples of which non-Windowheap effects/components are affected? If I can confirm any of them, I'll open a report for those.
