Bug ID: 493107 Summary: Allow bigger preview of thumbnail in left sidebar, especially for Faces Classification: Applications Product: digikam Version: 8.5.0 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Albums-TreeView Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: jens-bugs.kde....@spamfreemail.de Target Milestone: --- RATIONALE During face detection especially, but also for tags and albums, I would like to be able to zoom into thumbnails. Quite often I see a face which I have tagged but I don't remember the name of that person, and so I search for the image in the sidebar. To do this I have to zoom in to make the thumbnails recognizable - but zooming in also reduces the amount of faces visible in the sidebar tree. I would like to be able to *temporarily* zoom in (i.e. enlarge the thumbnails in the sidebar) e.g. by using CTRL+scrollwheel to find a face, then quickly reset this to the original size again. An alternative would be to have a larger thumbnail (at least 100x100 pixels, so that you can recognize the face) show when hovering the mouse over a face thumbnail. This would make finding faces with unknown names much easier. Thank you! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
