Bug ID: 493076 Summary: Night color fails to activate on secondary screen with color management after reboot Classification: Plasma Product: kdeplasma-addons Version: 6.1.90 Platform: NixOS OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Night Color Control Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: chermnykh2...@gmail.com CC: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org, vlad.zahorod...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Have multiple displays with color management (ICC profile) configured 2. Use `powerdevil` built without `ddcutil` support (to enable plasma's color management based brightness control). The external display should use plasma's color management as its brightness source 3. Set the external display brightness to 100% 2. Set night color to "custom times" (the current state should be "evening transition", possibly reproduces with other states) 3. Reboot OBSERVED RESULT Night color is only activated for the internal laptop display Re-activating night color does not enable the it for the external display Disabling and re-enabling ICC profile for the external screen also enables night color for the screen EXPECTED RESULT Night color should be enabled automatically SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: NixOS 24.11 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.9-zen1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics Memory: 23.3 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU/PCIe/SSE2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION NVIDIA Driver version: nvidia-open-6.10.9-560.35.03 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
