Bug ID: 372796 Summary: Moving a windows to the left monitor makes it disappear outside of screen coordinates. Product: kwin Version: 5.8.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: multihead Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: everm...@pc-portal.at Target Milestone: --- Monitor setup: Secondary monitor || Primary Monitor When moving a window from the primary to the secondary monitor, the window will just disappear, it seems like it is placed under the secondary monitor out of the screen coordinates. To bring the window back I have to select "move" in the Task Manager, which allows me to place the window on the second screen properly, until I reposition it again by dragging it as usual which makes it disappear again. Here is the xwininfo output where the windows should be at the same location (+-5px): Windows visible: Absolute upper-left X: 0 Absolute upper-left Y: 393 Relative upper-left X: 0 Relative upper-left Y: 0 Width: 1133 Height: 807 Depth: 24 Visual: 0x27 Visual Class: TrueColor Border width: 0 Class: InputOutput Colormap: 0x5c00004 (not installed) Bit Gravity State: NorthWestGravity Window Gravity State: NorthWestGravity Backing Store State: NotUseful Save Under State: no Map State: IsViewable Override Redirect State: no Corners: +0+393 -2707+393 -2707-0 +0-0 -geometry 1133x807+0-0 Window invisible: Absolute upper-left X: 0 Absolute upper-left Y: 1228 Relative upper-left X: 0 Relative upper-left Y: 0 Width: 1133 Height: 807 Depth: 24 Visual: 0x27 Visual Class: TrueColor Border width: 0 Class: InputOutput Colormap: 0x5c00004 (not installed) Bit Gravity State: NorthWestGravity Window Gravity State: NorthWestGravity Backing Store State: NotUseful Save Under State: no Map State: IsViewable Override Redirect State: no Corners: +0+1228 -2707+1228 -2707--835 +0--835 -geometry 1133x807+0+1228 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
