Bug ID: 492815 Summary: KDE panel freezes when a mounted NFS share becomes unavailable Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: m.lince...@gmail.com CC: niccolo.venera...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY When a NFS share is mounted, and Dolphin is open on that NFS share, if the NFS share suddenly becomes unavailable this results in the panel freezing. Also Dolphin freezes but that would be another (less serious) bug, unless the bug can be traced to an underlying component. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Mount a NFS share (I have my NFS shares specified in fstab, but I use Dolphin to mount them) 2. Shutdown the NFS server 3. Try to interact with Dolphin / the panel, like clicking on the Dolphin icon in the panel. OBSERVED RESULT The panel freezes. EXPECTED RESULT The panel continues to work unaffected. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.3-200.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
