Bug ID: 492684 Summary: The "Translucency" effect leaves a ghostly window Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: 6.1.4 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: effects-various Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: katze_...@alt-kde.ru Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 173352 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=173352&action=edit Video demonstration SUMMARY If you enable the "Translucency" effect for "Inactive windows" and try to minimize a window that is out of focus, the minimized window remains on the screen without the possibility of interacting with it. The transition between desktops helps, I recorded it in the video. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open the "System Settings" 2. Go to "Window Management" => "Desktop Effects" 3. Turn on the "Translucency" effect and go to its settings 4. Set the transparency value for "Inactive windows" to below 100% 5. Open the program and focus on any other object 6. Minimize the open program without switching the focus to it. OBSERVED RESULT The window remains after collapsing and cannot be interacted with. This is clearly visible in the video.
