            Bug ID: 492600
Summary: Plasmashell crash right after resuming
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 6.1.4
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Keywords: drkonqi
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: generic-crash
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: farch...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Application: plasmashell (6.1.4)

Qt Version: 6.7.2
Frameworks Version: 6.5.0
Operating System: Linux 6.10.6-200.fc40.x86_64 x86_64
Windowing System: Wayland
Distribution: "Fedora release 40 (Forty)"
DrKonqi: 6.1.4 [CoredumpBackend]

-- Information about the crash:
Every so often (Roughly once every 1-2 days), after resuming, my panels act
strange. The way I have my panels set is in a mac-esque way, meaning I got a
top panel, full width, showing the kicker at the left, clock and icons at the
right. In the middle, I got my app menu bar. At the bottom, I got a "floating",
auto-hide panel that shows my running apps. Both are set identically on both
screens.

Extremely often (80-85% of the time), when I resume from standby, the bottom
auto-hide panels no longer show. To fix it, I have to put the desktop in "Edit
mode", and simply cancel out of it, that fixes it.

But sometimes (Out of that 80-85%, roughly 20% of the time), the whole panel
just, crashes. This bug report is related to that.

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.
