Sadly, it does not. I'm setting this to confirmed, as it is a valid issue, just
of very low impact.
I've just checked another combo box in Settings > Sound > Configure Volume
Controls and that snaps back to 100% if you try to enter a value higher than
100%.
So this is a consistency issue as well.
