            Bug ID: 492398
Summary: After upgrade from 5.7 kdevelop starts in nonfunc
state and cannot open *.pro files anymore
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdevelop
           Version: 6.0.240800
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: grave
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: kdevelop-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: muel...@online.de
  Target Milestone: ---

After (automatic) upgrading my archlinux I got kdevelop 8.0.240800 installed.
Since then It does not start anymore (in a functional state) and complains:
" Could not load project management plugin KDevQMakeManager.
Check that the required programs are installed, or see console output for more
information."
The console complains:
"kf.coreaddons: "Could not load plugin from
/usr/lib/qt6/plugins/kdevplatform/60/kdevastyle.so: Cannot load library
/usr/lib/qt6/plugins/kdevplatform/60/kdevastyle.so"
I cannot find any kdevastyle in neither archlinux-packages nor UserRepository
(AUR) and a search for "KDevQMakeManager" only delivers hits from a decade ago.

Possibly related: starting a new session through "Open Project" does not offer
anymore to read QT's *.pro files.

After reinstalling version 5.14.240502 (24.05.2) everything works again as
before, meaning the problems are not caused by something being accidentally
deinstalled.
