Bug ID: 492354 Summary: Dolphin .desktop file linking: better name and icon Classification: Frameworks and Libraries Product: kio-gdrive Version: 24.08.0 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: elvis.angelac...@kde.org Reporter: boredsquir...@secure.mailbox.org Target Milestone: --- Thanks for the Google Drive integration! It works well, but in Dolphin there are 2 cosmetic issues. When linking a folder from gdrive to another directory, a .desktop file is created. This technically works as expected, but aestetically is problematic. 1. it uses the entire filepath gdrive: link instead of just the last part, the folder name 2. it has a blank "unknown file" icon, while using the "folder-gdrive" icon would be better These cosmetic additions would make the integration work flawless and comfortable, currently renaming and setting a different icon is needed to make it look "normal" Thanks! Operating System: Fedora Linux 40 KDE Plasma Version: 6.1.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.5.0 Qt Version: 6.7.2 Kernel Version: 6.10.6-200.fc40.x86_64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland dolphin-libs-24.08.0-1.fc40.x86_64 dolphin-plugins-24.08.0-1.fc40.x86_64 dolphin-24.08.0-1.fc40.x86_64 kio-gdrive-24.08.0-1.fc40.x86_64 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
