            Bug ID: 492354
Summary: Dolphin .desktop file linking: better name and icon
    Classification: Frameworks and Libraries
           Product: kio-gdrive
           Version: 24.08.0
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: elvis.angelac...@kde.org
          Reporter: boredsquir...@secure.mailbox.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Thanks for the Google Drive integration!

It works well, but in Dolphin there are 2 cosmetic issues.

When linking a folder from gdrive to another directory, a .desktop file is
created. This technically works as expected, but aestetically is problematic.

1. it uses the entire filepath gdrive: link instead of just the last part, the
folder name
2. it has a blank "unknown file" icon, while using the "folder-gdrive" icon
would be better

These cosmetic additions would make the integration work flawless and
comfortable, currently renaming and setting a different icon is needed to make
it look "normal"

Thanks!
