I tried `coredumpctl --reverse`, but the backtrace doesn't show up. It also doesn't show the backtrace on KOrganizer when I tried to run in under `gdb`in order to get a backtrace on this bug. The last backtrace that it can find is from yesterday about steam. I ran into this bug today. Maybe running plasma-shell under gbd will yeld results? By the way, love your 'This week on KDE' news.
