Bug ID: 492332 Summary: Request for Adding VLESS Protocol Support in KDE Classification: Applications Product: systemsettings Version: 6.1.4 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: kcm_networkmanagement Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: shamil79...@gmail.com CC: jgrul...@redhat.com Target Milestone: --- Hello KDE Developers, My name is Shamil, and I am a user and enthusiast of KDE. Recently, the VLESS protocol, which is used for proxying and bypassing restrictions, has been gaining popularity due to its efficiency and security. I would like to propose adding support for this protocol in KDE applications that handle network connections, such as NetworkManager or other relevant tools. Support for VLESS could be highly beneficial for many users, particularly in scenarios where privacy and bypassing restrictions are critical. It would also enhance KDE's reputation as a user-friendly environment that prioritizes security and network versatility. I would greatly appreciate it if this feature could be considered for future updates to KDE. If you need further information or would like to discuss this suggestion in more detail, I am more than willing to contribute. Thank you for your attention and for the outstanding work you do on KDE!
