Hi Gilles Caulier
I've been struggling for a while with the time format that digikam uses to
extract dates. In my particular case, it's the use of blank spaces. Currently,
I usually use exiftool to perform the massive change of dates, but I wanted to
gradually migrate it to Digikam in this regard as well.

My problem is that when the date contains a space, it is not recognized as a
valid format:

20240827 -> Works fine
2024-08-27 -> Works fine
2024_08_27 -> Works fine
2024 08 27 -> Does not recognize the format

Is it possible to expand the format recognition with the inclusion of blank
spaces, or does this generate some potential problem?
