I have the same request. Reason is that I have an external drive for backup
(for that reason not constantly connected to the pc) and when I travel (for
that reason collection present in digiKam), but when I'm home I use the
collection from the NAS to browse through the photo's. I also use the Date
feature in order to see the photo's from different cameras in chronological
order. Unfortunately, I cannot filter the pictures according to collection or
source. That results in photos appearing double.
Could I please ask that such an option to filter according to source could be
added in one of the next releases? That would make this very useful and
powerful program so much more user friendly.
