Happens for me as well. Super irritating...it happens 8 out of 10 cases. What
helps for me is to switch to console and pkill -f -9 kscreenlocker_greet. As
far I remember, it started happening around Plasma 6.1. Maybe it is related, or
not but, often monitor blinks multiple times and displays information that
frequency is out of range. Sometimes only one screen is detected (monitor has
to be enabled via Nvidia settings app), sometimes monitors display the same
screen.
