This doesn't affect my setup either, with a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga gen 4 hooked
up to a USB-C dock with an HDMI monitor (that lacks built in speakers) plugged
into it.
For those affected, does it happen if you plug in the screen directly,
bypassing the dock?
